In September 2018, the Japanese photography company, Fujifilm, announced its newest product, the X-T3. This flagship mirrorless camera is the first to use the new 26MP resolution BSI CMOS X-Trans sensor and the 4th generation X-Processor.
The ability of the X-Ttrans CMOS 4 sensor is that it can improve performance when in low light conditions because it has a backside illuminated structure. Apart from that, this sensor also offers a sophisticated hybrid autofocus system with 425 phase-detect points covering the entire frame.
A year later, in 2019 Fujifilm then released the X-T30 and X-Pro3. And then in 2020 Fujifilm released the X-T4 and X100V. The four cameras still rely on the BSI CMOS X-Trans 26MP sensor and X-Processor 4. Even so, each one has its own charm, let’s talk one by one.
Fujifilm Sensor X-trans CMOS 4 Camera Recommendations
1. Fujifilm X-T3
Even though a successor to this series already exists, the Fujifilm X-T3’s capabilities are still very capable. In terms of video, for example, this camera is capable of recording 4K 60fps video and 10-bit 4: 2: 0 video output directly to the SD card (using the H.265 / HEVC codec) or 10-bit 4: 2: 2 to an external recorder via HDMI. .
From a physical point of view, this camera has a fairly large body and camera grip. With a complete and intuitive physical control system this camera is very comfortable to use for work and for producing content. We can also tilt this camera screen up, down or to the left for the purpose of making it easier to shoot vertically.
Fujifilm deliberately designed this Camera for those who work as photographers and videographers. For the price alone Fujifilm costs around Rp. 20 million and it will be cheaper if you buy it when there is a discount.
2. Fujifilm X-T30
This camera has the same type of sensor, processor and autofocus system as its predecessor, the X-T3, except that the body this time is very different from the X-T3. This X-T30 camera has a much more compact body and a more affordable price (body only IDR 14 million). What this means is that this camera is easier to carry and less conspicuous when shooting in public places. This camera is perfect for photography lovers, travelers and content creators who want to improve the quality of their content.
Because it has a compact body it also cuts down on video recording capabilities. However, the Fujifilm X-T30 is still capable of recording 4K UHD and DCI video at 30 fps 200 Mbps with 4: 2: 0 8-bit video output using internal recording and 4: 2: 2 10-bit video output using an external recorder via HDMI.
3. Fujifilm X-Pro3
For experienced photographers who long for the thrill of shooting with a film camera, this Fujifilm X-Pro3 is the right choice. Has the form of a dual screen screen that has a hybrid optical and electronic type viewfinder. The main LCD panel faces backwards and you need to flip it over if you want to use it.
Minor changes occur to the mechanism of the screen, which will dramatically change the way the user is photographed. As in the habit of taking pictures via the screen and peeking at photos after shooting, for this camera users are encouraged to shoot through the viewfinder. For the price itself, Fujifilm sells it for IDR 28 million (body only).
4. Fujifilm X-T4
Like the Fujifilm X-T3, the Fujifilm X-T4 camera is also designed for professional photographers and videographers as well as for content creators who are serious about their content. However the X-T4 has a few enhancements over the Fujifilm X-T3.
The first is the in-body image stabilization or IBIS feature that can reduce shocks by up to 6.5 stops. Then the screen now has a fully articulated mechanism which will be very useful for making sure the framing and autofocus are correct during shooting.
Furthermore, this Fujifilm X-T4 uses an NP-W235 type battery which has a capacity of about 1.5 times larger than the NP-W126S. So that the Fujifilm X-T4 is able to take up to 500 shots on a single charge, even up to 600 shots when using economy mode. For the price, Fujifilm sells it for IDR 27 million for body only.
5. Fujifilm X100V
The Fujifilm X100V camera is a premium compact camera that is the successor to the X100F which is well known as a camera for street photography and travelers. This 5th generation of the X100 series already uses the latest sensors and processors. However, this series still retains its characteristics such as a hybrid optical and electronic viewfinder and an irreplaceable 23mm f / 2 fix lens.
Even so, Fujifilm has revamped its optical design for the X100V series so that it is more dexterous in locking focus from a short distance and can produce a sharper image at the edges of the frame. But not only that, Fujifilm has also perfected its electronic viewfinder via an OLED panel with a resolution of 3.69 million dots.
The X100V screen is already a touchscreen and can be tilted in two directions. Which X100V video recording capability reaches 4K 30 fps with F-log mode. Interested? Fujifilm X100V is priced at IDR 22 million in Tokopedia
