Review Realme 8 5G

It has a 6.5-inch IPS screen with a punch-hole design for the 16MP front camera. Overall, the design is fairly slick and does not give the impression of being cheap. Just a note, fingerprints are quite easy to imprint on the rear body. Therefore, the use of a casing is a solution to make the body not look dirty quickly.

On the right side of the body there is a power button which also functions as a fingerprint scanner. While on the left, there are volume buttons and a SIM card slot. The rear camera is arranged like an eye with a square frame and at the bottom is the Realme logo.

Realme 8 5G is fairly smooth to carry out daily needs, such as watching videos, listening to songs, or communicating via chat applications. The transition between apps is also smooth and there is no lag. For information, Realme 8 5G runs Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11.

The screen supports a 90Hz refresh rate, so the experience when accessing apps feels smoother. Realme also provides an auto select feature that allows the refresh rate setting to change automatically depending on which application is open, while saving battery usage.

The results of taking pictures with the main lens are fairly good for the affordable smartphone category, although they are not so amazing. When there is sufficient light, the colors displayed are accurate and minimal noise. The presence of AI features, I must admit, also increases the color saturation of the resulting image.

Meanwhile, for night conditions, the photos are also quite slick, plus the Night feature that supports the photos. The following are camera captures from the Realme 8 5G.
