The chat application that is very widely used in Indonesia, namely WhatsApp, has finally launched a new feature, yep this is Dark Mode. For those of you who don’t know, Dark Mode is a color scheme that uses light-colored text, icons, and graphical user interface elements on a dark background.

1. Back up your Chat History
Before going any further, you first need to back up your chat history on WhatsApp. This step is often underestimated, but on the contrary value is very important. Go to the Settings menu, select ‘chat’. Then select backup chat.
2. Update WhatsApp to version 2.20.13
You need to first update WhatsApp on the PlayStore. The reason is, the new dark mode feature has arrived in the latest WhatsApp version. namely version 2.20.13
3. Select the settings menu or settings
After updating, you need to press the three dots icon in the upper right corner of WhatsApp. After that select the settings menu or settings. Then select the ‘chats’ icon.
4. Select the Theme “Dark Mode” or “Dark Mode”
If you have updated WhatsApp and you are part of the beta program, there is a new feature called ‘themes’. Select the ‘theme’ sub menu.
